We had a really fun Halloween weekend. Of course, my favorite part is Trick-or-Treating with the kids. This year, Austin decided he was going to be a vampire, and Lauren was Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I even managed to get a new scary costume for the night. We invited Julie, Kenn, Ryan, Mary, Bec and my mom - so it was a full house. We grilled burgers early, and after eating everyone got into their costumes and hit the streets.
Austin had to put his costume on
early - like a few weeks early.
He is SO SCARY~!
But so CUTE at the same time.
...ok, this may have been about a week before Halloween...getting closer.
It's HALLOWEEN~!
OMG, Lauren is almost as tall as Nana.
Julie gets some Flip Video.
Shorty the Pitt Boss
The whole Halloween Gang!
OK, Austin has had enough pics - let's go Trick-or-Treating~!
Jacqui found a pumpkin prison
...and a dead dog.
While Jacqui and the kids all went trick-or-treating, I stayed back to scare the - ...I mean -.. to give candy to the kids. I'm not sure why I enjoy it so much, but I do. What's funny, is that it's usually the older kids that get scared the most. Of course, occasionally you'll get a young one who will refuse to come to the door.
We had a pretty good turnout. Nothing that compares to the 100's of kids we used to see in Garden Oaks. But, I bet we saw close to 50 kids, and I was able to get rid of two big bowls full of candy. Between groups of kids - I took advantage of the darkness, and took a few pics around the house...
Notice the bones in the grave....hehehe.
Lauren, Austin and I carved pumpkins Saturday morning. This one was mine..
...and these were Lauren's and Austin's . Great job, eh?
The house is looking pretty spooky.
Want some candy?
MUHAHAHAH~!
Austin wasn't even a little bit scared of my costume.
Lauren and Nana check out the Trick-or-Treating loot.
!~HAPPY HALLOWEEN~!
