Lauren at 14 months

The wife and I have been talking about getting a good digital camera for years. We have a digital video camera - which I can use to capture images from video - but they are limited in resolution. For good quality images, we are still using a regular camera that uses actual film.

The one, and probably only neat thing about using a regular camera - is that it takes so long to finish a roll of film and get it developed - that when you finally do get it back it's often full of surprises - pictures you don't even remember taking.

...but is still not too sure about wearing a hat.

The phrase 'time flies' really makes sense to me now. It seems like yesterday that Lauren was born - but now she's running all over the house - and has a pretty good vocabulary. She'll probably be talking in complete sentences tomorrow - and be driving a car by the end of the week. It's great watching her grow - but sometimes I wish it didn't go by so fast.

This is not a particularly flattering picture of any of us....
...but it was cute regardless.

My parents came over a couple days ago, and brought some pictures they took ....I couldn't resist putting a few of them here.

As long as her head doesn't get wet - Lauren enjoys the water.

That's a CUTE bathing suit.

Lauren looks so much older than 14 months in this picture.
