New Orleans over the Holidays

We decided to spend a couple days with the kids in New Orleans over the holidays. Julie, Kenn and their kids joined us, and it was a lot of fun! We enjoyed rummaging around the French Quarter, eatin' and drinkin' and all that good stuff.

You can tell it was late, Austin was so tired.

Here we are the next day, getting breakfast.

We headed back to Jackson Square

Everyone got dressed up for pictures at the Roosevelt / Waldorf Astoria ....
. ..except Austin and Ryan who stayed in the room and played video games.

It was POURING rain outside, so there really wasn't much else to do than take pictures...

On our way home, we took the tour at Oak Alley Plantation.
Those trees were planted in the 1700's and are almost 300 years old.

We stopped at Bradford and Julie's to pick up Paris.
...she slept the whole way home.
