It was a big day for Lauren. It was her first Rodeo AND her first concert experience. The Hanna Montana show sold out in under 10 minutes - 70,000 seats. Then, they put up 3,000 standing room only tickets, and those sold out too. Amazing. I've never seen so many little girls in the same place, all wearing pink.

We made it!
Here we are, getting in line for the Ferris wheel.

The view from the Ferris wheel was awesome.
Look at those lines down there!

A sad sight - the old bridge to Astroworld - now just an empty lot.

My two cowgirls!

Lauren and I enjoy the ride.

One last picture from the Ferris wheel.
There really isn't much else to do on the Ferris wheel but take pictures.

Lauren LOVED the fun houses.

She was running through so fast I could hardly catch her.

GOTCHA!

HELLO UP THERE!

On our way into the show - looking at the old Astrodome.

SMILE!!

...where's Austin??   We left him at home with his granddad...

The two best looking girls at the entire rodeo!

HANNA MONTANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!!!!!!!~!~!!!!
(ahhh - my ears!)

(more screaming)

I had to take a break.... it was a good excuse to get a picture of the carnival at night.
Well, there ya go.  After all that, when we asked Lauren what she thought of the show...
...she said "It was kinda like watching it on TV"
