Another old Photo Album - 1979

Ken Carter.    I had no idea who this was until I scanned these pictures. I did a quick internet search, and found out this guy once tried to jump a MILE in a rocket car. There was a documentary movie named 'Devil at Your Heels' made about the attempt. Check out the imbedded YouTube video below. At the 3:40 mark he mentions the jump in the Astrodome where I took these pictures.

My dad took me to see this jump. I'm not sure if I asked to go - or if he just thought it would be fun, but regardless, I'm glad to have these pics, and can still remember it well.
