Another old Photo Album - 1980

After 8th grade, my best friend Scott Henry moved to Japan. We kept in touch, sending pictures and letters. I think the pictures on this page were taken sometime after that - in 1980. His family often vacationed at Fort Clark Springs, Texas. Scott and I would have our backpacks full with a day's supply of food, and set out early - spending the entire day 'treasure hunting' with his metal detector. As you can see from some of these pics, we did occasionally find some really valuable stuff. ...and we explored most every inch of Fort Clark, and all the old buildings.
