December
2006
It's already February of 2007, and I'm just now getting around to posting pics from Christmas. Well, what can I say? ...it's been busy. OK - let's get on with the pics.
December is a BUSY month for us. It starts off with my Birthday. Of course, I'm well past the "Birthday party stage" so it's usually not such a big deal. The running tradition is to have a homemade fried shrimp dinner. It's AWESOME - THANKS MOM!!
Me and the kids - this is really all I want for my birthday.
Four candles? .....close enough.
Just a random pic I thought was cute.
Austin's birthday is just two days after mine. Of course, we make a much bigger deal about Austin's birthday - and he gets PRESENTS!! If you're interested in seeing pictures from Austin's 2nd birthday party, I've put all of them on a separate page - CLICK HERE.
What would December be without the obligatory office holiday party? My company had an 'official' holiday party (boring), and an unofficial Santa Pub Crawl that was a TON of fun. I've put all the Santa Pub Crawl pics on this page right here - CLICK ME!
Below, are pictures from Jacqui's office party. Actually, I had a really good time at Jacqui's party....except for having to endure that poor comedian.
"THE GIRLS"
OMG - I am SO FAT!
Seriously, when this pic was taken I was close to 200 pounds
Jacqui and Kathy are all smiles.
Awwww, such a cute couple.
Kathy and Tim enjoy the festivities.
When "YMCA" came on - I had to bail.
We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house. ...continuing a tradition that I grew up with. My parents have lived in the same house for almost 40 years - it's the house I grew up in. Every time I visit it's like going back in time. My room is almost the same - most of the drawers still have my old junk in them. Anyway, the kids had a great day opening presents - and I loved it too.
These are
just a few of our failed attempts at getting a Christmas card picture.
LET'S OPEN
PRESENTS!!!
C'mon Blake - Hurry up!
Everyone is all smiles.
Yep - I'm still fat.
Where's Austin? Oh, he's taking a nap.
Lauren and Trey tear
into their presents.
What did you get Lauren?
Oh wow! A cheerleader practice set!
Lauren also got a digital
camera for Christmas! CLICK
HERE to see some of the pictures she took.
...and Daddy got a paint-ball gun (later returned).
Santa sent the kids on another 'Treasure Hunt'
I will never figure out how Santa comes up with all those rhymes,
or how he manages to hide all those notes without anyone seeing him.
Santa is magic.
Santa's (old) helper provides some assistance.
Austin wakes from his nap and is ready for his presents too!
OHHHH - A Thomas Train!
With 4 kids and 6 adults, it can get a little messy.
Blake and Austin really enjoyed the train set.
Austin and Pops say "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!"
