OneStream Splash convention in Las Vegas - May 2024
I've been with Excel Global Partners now for about three years. We are a consulting company that specializes in OneStream Financial Software implementations. OneStream is a competitor to Oracle, Hyperion and SAP. Anyway, OneStream has various conventions, but by far the largest is called Splash. It's where all the OneStream partners (like us) meet with OneStream employees and customers, and where OneStream demo's new features, and customers talk about there successes with the software. I think there were around 4,000 attendees this year. . ...oh, and there are also a few parties and since it was in Vegas, well - there may have been some late night gambling as well. So here ya go - a few pictures and vids from Splash 2024 Vegas!
I got checked in, and I had a great
view of The Sphere from my room
This was taken from a walkway between my hotel and the convention center
That looks fun
A nighttime view from my room
Well, as you can imagine, I spent a couple evenings enjoying a few drinks at
the Blackjack tables.
I was up $600 the first night!
And of course, lost $700 the next.
That's OK, I suspect I drank more than $100 in those two nights - so no worries
- it was fun!
Eating dinner with John, the cofounder of EGP and the Director of CPM Solutions,
Damaris.
We were also joined by programmer extraordinair, Eli

As fun as it looks - I spent a vast majority of my time just like this - watching
presentations and taking notes.
On the last night, we attended the Great Gatsby theme party at the nightclub
in Caesar's Palace.
Here I am rockin' my $20 Amazon costume that turned out to be very popular.
Everyone makes their way to Caesar's Palace
The Omnia nightclub was awesome and had one of the most amazing light shows
I've ever seen.

...even if some of us (Damaris) had a bit too much.
Ahhh, good times!
