Austin goes away to College

I've lost count how many times I've said "time flies" on these web pages. Well, let me say it again - TIME FLIES!! Jacqui and I are officially Empty Nesters. Yep, Austin was accepted into Texas A&M College of Engineering. SO PROUD of him!! ...and Lauren is set to graduate from A&M with a Mechanical Engineering degree. It's neat that, for a least one semester, they are in the same school again. The last time was when Lauren was in 5th grade and Austin in Kindergarten.

So we packed up all of Austin's things, and made the drive to College Station. ...it's bitter sweet.

The summer before Austin left for college, he started working out with a trainer - Bashir
Since Austin left, I've been taking his spot. It's the 1st time I've worked out seriously in about 9 years

Meanwhile, just across campus, Lauren has a nice dinner with her date....

We came up the next weekend to finish a few things, and to take the kids out to eat.

We went to Chuy's - one of my favorite places.

Jacqui told the kids she would pay for them to go eat together.
The only condition was they had to send a picture.

Austin lost his Secret Stash shirt, so Jacqui ordered him a new one
