Lately, I've been starting my ranch pages with pictures from the trail cam near my watering hole. So let's do that.

Oh my gosh, the pigs are EVERYWHERE!

... and it's the blind Trey used to get his doe.

And of course, something always breaks.
In this case, the CV joint on one of the front axles of my Polaris.

I've had it with the guy who repaired my Polaris the last time. It was in his shop over SIX MONTHS.
I did my research, and purchased a new axle off Amazon. I had it up and running the next weekend.

The center bar with the decal is the new part.

Another thing I fixed was a leak in the watering hole that turned into a muddy pig wallowing area

This is my brother's place.
We get together for happy hour every now and then.

I love to see deer around the feeder

Yeah, sometimes I do some tractor work clearing cedar.

Sunset at the house

Before the big freeze, I shut off all the water. The next time I came up, I was glad to see the dipping pool was not completely empty.

Another one bites the dust

My watering hole froze - wow
Notice the circular pattern in the ice? That's from the waterfall.

The waterfall runs on solar, so it only works when the sun is out

And this was the other casualty of the freeze.

It's a sediment filter for the dipping pool

I didn't have a replacement, so just bypassed it for now/

My brother is building some additional living (and PARTY) space at his ranch.
We are only about a mile apart, so I'm almost as excited about it as he is
