I can't remember the last time I got to ski two times in the same year. Thankfully, this year was the exception - and let me tell ya - it was AWESOME! Julie put this trip together, and it was just too good of a deal to pass up. We stayed at Aunt Celia and Uncle Ron's home in Breckenridge, and WOW - it was SO NICE. ..I just had to walk around and take a few pics.

Welcome to Breckenridge - make yourself at home!

C'mon in!

Celia gives Jacqui and Austin the tour...

Here's the back of the house as seen from the hot tub. ...not too shabby.

DAY 1 (Wednesday)

The sun is coming up, and it's time to go skiing!!!

Everyone is bundled up for our first Gondola ride to the slopes.

I'm ready to ski!!!

Renting our gear, and getting everyone up on the mountain that first day is always exhausting.
.....but totally worth it.

Look at those views!!!

Lauren had a rough start - but once she got her ski legs back she was carving up the mountain.

DAY 3 (Friday)

On Friday, we were supposed to get about 8 inches of new snow....
...so we took a day off from skiing , and did a dog sledding tour instead. It was a BLAST!

Jay looks like he's ready to go....
...funny thing was - he tipped over twice.
...and I was *this close* to getting the wreck on video.

That night, we all went out for dinner - then a few cold drinks at Jay and Sherrie's condo.

Yes - a COLD drink!

I took a bunch of blurry pics on the ride home that night....
....my vision was a bit blurry too - hehehe.

DAY 4 (Saturday)
...we didn't ski Saturday - but did take a few pictures around the house.

I know Bruce really enjoyed spending some time with his daughters.

DAY 5 (Sunday)

Ron arrived Saturday, and the next day he took everyone on the guided mountain tour.
It's great being able to ski with someone who really knows the mountain (and likes to ski fast).

Julie snapped this pic of a fox.

Everyone is all smiles on the lift.

We enjoyed a few cold ones with lunch.

Then it was time to head for the TOP - the VERY TOP!!!

The infamous Imperial Express Superchair lift - the highest chair lift in North America!

Are you really ready to go up there??

A view of the VERY top - way above the tree line.

A few crazy folks walk to the tippy-top.   ..phew....I was scared enough as it was.

The views from the top were amazing...

...it was a bit scary up there - it almost felt like one wrong move, and you would just fall right off the mountain!

From the top of peak 7 - if you look WAAAAY up there, you can almost see the top of the Imperial Express Lift.

Yeah Baby!!

"The Sevens" was our favorite place to eat.

That sun is BRIGHT!
