For the most part, I always enjoy going to concerts. Getting there and back is a different story - but once you're at the show - WooHoo!! For a while, Jacqui and I were going to a lot of concerts, but we slowed down to just a couple times a year back in 2013. Now that we're super old, it takes a special occasion to get us to a concert.
Well, when Kenn and Julie told us about this show - it seemed perfect. Their ranch is in Bellville - so we had five start accommodations! We imagined a beautiful day, getting there in time to see Aaron Lewis, and quick drive back after the show. Well, mother nature had other plans. I feel sorry for the folks who had tickets for Friday because it POURED all day. I'm surprised they didn't cancel Friday's show. The 'parking lots' turned to muddy fields. On Saturday, the weather was perfect, but we found out Aaron Lewis had canceled (voice issues). I was kinda bummed. Oh well, it gave us more time to pre-party. And we did. We partied at Julie and Kenns to the point where Jacqui was asking if we really had to go to the show. Well - we made it. I *was* promised a chauffeur, but we ended up parking and walking. We did a lot of walking...to the show, at the show, and it seemed ESPECIALLY after the show. Did our car somehow move farther away during the show? Regardless, I had a great time.

We made it
- clean and (somewhat) sober
We had VIP tickets, and were lucky to find a nice spot to set up despite how
late we were

They call me KiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiDDDDDD KID
