After Christmas, we met the Stewarts for a family vacation to Universal Studios and Disney World, where we rang in the new year. I took so many pictures and video, that I decided to break it up into several pages. This is Day 1 - Universal Studios.
OMG, it was SO CROWDED that day it was unbelievable. In fact, it made the news because they had to shut down the park for a while, as it had reached 100% capacity. There were spots where you could hardly move from one place to another, and the Harry Potter section was completely packed. You had to get a ticket with an assigned time just to enter the area....crazy.
The first
picture I took on our vacation - entering Universal Studios.

Waiting in line for the Poseidon Adventure
Jay's cousin Brannon met us for the day - he helped keep us from loosing any
kids in the crowd.

After Poseidon, we headed to the Jurassic Park section.

The boys
are ready for some rock climbing.
Yes, I did it too.
I even managed to make it all the way to the top.
Austin makes his way up he wall.
It was a long climb - but he made it all the way up!
Lauren did as good as she could with her 'Ugg' boots.
Christopher's turn...
...and now it's time to head to Harry Potter world.
Harry Potter's castle.
Notice the wait time for that ride is listed at 120 minutes - yep - two hours!!
The adults rode the 'Dragon Challenge' - a really cool roller coaster. It was about the only ride in the park that didn't have about an hour wait. ...but I didn't get any pictures of that...
