Lauren Graduates College and Takes a Trip to NYC
Graduating college is a HUGE milestone in anyone's life. For me, I'm just glad she's getting off the payroll. HA! No, seriously, we are so proud of Lauren. She graduated Texas A&M University with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and has accepted her first job in Austin, TX. On graduation day, we arrived early to attend the Mechanical Engineering department celebration, and then took a 'final' walk around campus.

This is Lauren's Mechanical Engineering
senior design team. They worked together on a project to test flight characteristics
of altered drones, and won 1st place!
I'm not sure the guy on the right understood the idea for the pose
After taking her 'final' walk on campus we all went out to eat, then back to Lauren's place to change for THE BIG EVENT!
Trey and Lauren make such a cute
couple
This was the 1st time I'd worn a suit in a long time
I even shaved and everything!
Before....
..and after.
See the two blonde girls in the center? Lauren is the one on the right
The Pledge of Allegiance
There's Lauren without her cap
And finally, they called her name and she walked across the stage
SHE DID IT!!!
WooHoo - Congrats Lauren!!
A few days after graduation, Lauren and her friends Saige, Parker and Lily took a trip to New York City.
The visited Rockefeller Center
...and a cemetery.
And they even got to enjoy one of these cute little party houses at Rockefeller
Center
Lauren knows I love Popey's, so sent me this pic from Times Square
I think that's the apartment from "Friends"
This is what Lauren wore when she went to be on the Today Show.

Part of the graduation package included a Senior Portrait session. Lauren is so photogenic, it's hard not to include all the pictures. I tried my best to cut out a few....but....well - enjoy!
Congratulations
Lauren - we are so proud of you!
