Paris Puppy~!

After years of tormenting from the kids (and sometimes me), Jacqui finally relented and let us get another dog. I also have to thank Bradford and Julie for having such a great German Shepherd - that dog helped tip the scale of Jacqui's decision. Anyway, the summer of 2014 was coming to and end, and if we were going to get a dog I wanted to do it before the kids went back to school. So we did some research, looked around and finally found a good Shepherd at a decent price....in Waco. Actually, it was a fun drive - me and the kids. The breeder was very nice and his facilities were as well. The puppy we got was SO CUTE, and not too much of a spaz - which is a good thing. She was born June 10, 2014, and was just under eight weeks old when we got her. Poor dog, she pooped in her crate not even two blocks from the breeder. I thought - OMG...it's going to be a looooong drive home. But it really wasn't that bad. After some time at her new home, she started to settle in.

Boy, did I underestimate the amount of work it takes to crate train and potty train a new puppy. As I write this (October 31) she will be 5 months old on Nov 10. She is finally getting house broken, and has taken to the crate easily (she likes it). So....she's starting to become part of our family now...and deserved her own web page...enjoy the pics and vids!
