Houston Rodeo Carnival 2011
March 16, 2011 - Jacqui and I took the kids to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Carnival. We didn't get as early a start as we wanted, and we ran into some traffic getting there - parking was crazy. But that was all water under the bridge once we walked in the gates.....
First up
- the surf shack.
Yes, we loved the age appropriate theming.
After jumping off the surf shack we headed to......
The scary pirate ride~!~!
What's really scary is how fat I am - I could hardly fit in there!
Well, it wasn't that scary after all.
Austin enjoys Toon Town.
Finally, a REAL ride - woohoo!!!
At first, I was going to take a bunch of pics on this ride.
But once we got going, I was holding on for dear life. Austin didn't like it
at all.
You just HAVE to ride the big slide!

Awwww yeah!
OH - check out the swings of death behind Lauren. Yeah - now you can see why
I didn't get any pics while we were on that ride.
After the slide, Lauren and I rode a small roller coaster.
This is Lauren's 'concerned' look.

One of my favorite rides is the Ferris wheel.
You can relax, enjoy the view - and have a snack!

...ok - more fun houses!!
HI AUSTIN!!
Jacqui enters the window maze. Austin smacked his head a couple times, and walked
out with a big knot on his forehead.
But that didn't slow him down....or the girls either.
Look the sun is out!
GO JACQUI~!~!
We ended the day with a long 'ski lift' ride back to the front gate.
Reliant Stadium -
Astrodome

We had a GREAT day~!~!
