Padre Family Vacation - 2010
This was our second annual family vacation to South Padre. We had a TON of fun in the sun!
DAY 1 - THURSDAY
Here's the
view from our balcony.
The boys hit the pool as soon as we got there.

After we got settled, we headed down to the beach!

The boys had a BLAST playing in the surf.

DAY 2 - FRIDAY
I was up
early the next day, and snagged this pic of the sunrise.
Today, we are determined to build a sandcastle.

Claire and Austin work well together.
...while Lauren was on water duty.
That night, we ate seafood buffet and watched fireworks.
The girls are glowing!
Check out the size of our drinks. ...and they were 'Long Island Tea' style -
mostly liquor. WooHoo!!
After a day on the beach, the kids were HUNGRY!

DAY 6 - TUESDAY
Hurricane Alex was headed our way. We woke up to some rain Tuesday morning, and the surf was getting a bit rough. Thankfully, we didn't have any trouble getting home. However, the next day we saw reports on the news that South Padre had some flooding from the storm.
We stopped
here on our way home....
This place was HUGE!!
It's raining - RUN!!
After we finished shopping, the sun came out again.
