Summer 2019
While the title says 'Summer', this update actually includes content from March through September of 2019. Wow - it's been (and still is) a very hectic year! Lauren graduated HS, and we got her moved into her new apartment at A&M. Austin is a freshman in HS and is doing both school and rec soccer, and ...well....I may be buying a ranch....but we will save that for later. For now - here's a bunch of pics and vids from our exciting year!

We may have been busy, but for Paris, it was a lazy summer.
Jacqui and I went to the Friday, April 26 Astros vs Cleveland game.
We had great seats!
The 'stros lost, but we had a great time anyway.
After the game we walked over and met Blake and Charlie and Joystix for PacMan
fever night.
Austin was dressed up for something - so I said 'let me take a picture!'
In late may, we made an impromptu trip to South Padre with the kids (plus Evan
and Clark)
I get set up early, then I can relax for the rest of the day.
Ahhhhhh Yeahhhhhhhh

Ya know, coming back from vacation to this - ain't so bad.
It's nice to have a place where the kids enjoy hangin' out
For the July 4th weekend, we did our usual trip to my mom's cottage near Lake
Travis.
Lauren brought Grace, and I brought Paris.
Little did we know it would be our last trip to the cottage, as we sold it.
Close is set for Oct 25 - less than one week from today!

This was not long after the fire -so this was as close as you could get to Notre

MEANWHILE...back in the States
During one of my business trips to Chicago, we were treated to a nice happy
hour at the River Bar
...neat.
One of my 'pinball friends' - Erich - is part owner of the Game Preserve.
Also, Blake is helping with design - so I got a sneak peek into the construction process.
That wooden structure will be the 'UFO DJ Booth'
AND HERE ARE PICS FROM THE VIP OPENING PARTY!!
The VIP Party was held Friday, July 26.
There's the UFO DJ Booth in all it's glory
Blake did an amazing job on the graphics
Hard to see - but that's a huge custom mural running across that back wall

If you're familiar with Pac-Man - this looks just like the Mrs Pac Man cabinet.
Notice how the door windows are like coin return slots - too cool!
It's mid-August - but still plenty warm enough for the pool
Jacqui and I really enjoyed the pool a lot this year
Jacqui and Nana went to A&M to see Lauren's new apartment.
While there, they met Trey for lunch
On Thursday, Sep 12, Jacqui and I went to the Astro's vs Oakland game.
Jacqui was invited through work - so she was in the vendor's suite
No, this is not the suite
I eventually made my way up there, but didn't take any pics.
In what has almost become anther family tradition, we went to the A&M vs
Arkansas game at Texas Stadium
Nanny has a suite there, so it's always a fun, VIP party.
Did someone call security on us?
