Christmas and New Years Eve 2024

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and I'm grateful for all my blessings. However, with my mom in assisted living, it was the first Christmas we didn't go to 5302 Graystone Ln - the house I grew up in. Also, she just got shingles and really wasn't feeling up for a visit, so you will notice my mom isn't in any of the pictures this year - but she's A-OK as I'm typing this on Feb 25, 2025. Go Nana~!

The Christmas festivities started off in mid December, when we got together with Jacqui's Dad for lunch at the Sweetwater Country Club.

The second Christmas event of 2024 was over at Mimi's and Pawpaw's house. As usual, it was a bit crazy, a bit boozy, and a lot of fun was had by all.

For New Years Eve, we were invited by Chuck and Brenda to their 'sunset party'. Basically we all packed up our Polaris/Ranger/whatever you call 'em, and drove to a high spot with an amazing view of the Llano River valley. Everyone brought snacks and drinks and we rang in the new year with a bang~!~! ....well...maybe just a nice sunset, good snacks, a cold drink and a few friends. WooHoo!
