I hadn't planned on going, but on the day of the show a friend from work managed to snag some VIP tickets, so why not? The last time I saw KISS was 33 years ago - at the Summit on Sept. 2, 1977. So for me, it was a blast from the past - but also reminded me how much things have changed. Back then KISS was shocking, and very controversial. I was 12 years old when my dad took me and a group of my friends to see them. He was appalled by all he saw that night. Imagine not knowing what to expect, and then seeing KISS perform - the crowd was rowdy - lots of smoke and boobs on the big screen - not exactly kid friendly.
Tonight's performance was VERY kid friendly. In fact, I saw more kids at this show than any other (except when we took Lauren to see Hanna Montana). And get this, when I ordered a beer - they gave me the CAN! ...not a plastic cup - a real aluminum can. ....anyway, here are the pics and vids from the show.
I saw a lot of people who were
dressed up for the show.
