We have seen Shinedown several times, and I'm always impressed by connection Brent has with the audience. He seems to really enjoy performing, and always gives just a little extra to get the crowd going. However, this show was billed as 'an intimate evening with Shinedown' - an acoustic show. I'm a guitar guy, and I like to rock out - so I'm not usually a big fan of acoustic shows. But I figured this one could be an exception - and I was right. Shinedown really did put on a great show, and it was interesting to hear the inspiration and meaning behind the songs.
10 Years opened for Shinedown. Their big radio hit now is 'Shoot it Out' - and it's NOT something you'd think would sound good as an acoustic version - but they really pulled it off.
