Summer of 2010
On this page, I've posted a TON of random pictures (and video) from the summer of 2010. It's been a FUN summer - very busy - but still lots of fun. Of course, it seems like it's gone by much too fast. ...and I can't believe my little man is going to be in Kindergarten this year. Wow!
Actually, this first event was just before summer - but I never got around to posting the pics. These were taken at Lauren's piano recital.

This summer, Lauren played in an indoor soccer league. These pictures were taken from the spring season earlier in the year - but I figured I'd throw 'em in here anyway.

These next couple pictures were taken at the Chupakabra fun run on May 22nd. It was a six mile run through the woods - at night. The trail was pretty rough in spots, and Jacqui managed to bang up her knee pretty good.
And of course, no summer would be complete without some crawfish and beer. Extra thanks to the Darr's for hosting the crawfish boil~!
My parents and brother bought a condo in the Hollows - a development on the shores of Lake Travis near Austin, TX. They have made several trips up there this year. In the pics below, they brought Lauren and Trey.
For those that don't know, we live in a master planned community called Sienna Plantation. Recently, Sienna opened the 3rd 'resort style' pool - and these pics were taken at our first visit this summer.

We took Austin, Lauren, and Sydney (one of Lauren's friends) to the George Observatory in the Brazos Bend State Park. We got to look at the moon through the HUGE telescope, and it was amazing how much detail you could see.
I had to include this pic - Lauren still thinks she can fit in the kids shopping cart...
...and here's a couple cute pics of Austin from Jacqui's iPhone.
Julie sent these pics from a day at Michael's pool. She said "Like father, like son". ...yep, that's my boy!
...and this pic was SO cute of the kids. This was taken during Jacqui's trip to Louisiana.
Now, it wouldn't be fair if Austin didn't get to visit the Hollows condo too. So of course, Nana and Pops worked it out so Austin and Trey spent some time up there as well.

And now, the grand finale - and you won't believe this one. Austin did a FLIP OFF THE HIGH DIVE~! ...this boy has no fear. We had no idea he was going to do it. He started just jumping off the low dive. Then, a boy in front of him did a flip off the low dive - so Austin decided he was going to do that too - and he did! Poof - just like that. Then, he said he wanted to go off the high dive. Keep in mind, Austin is just now learning to swim without a life jacket, and this was his FIRST TIME to jump off the high dive. . ...so he jumps off a couple times, then - he says "I want to try something different" - so he does a FLIP off the high dive. ....we were all amazed.
