It seems like the entire month of December was one Christmas party after another. The very first weekend was the Santa Pub Crawl. The next weekend was our Technology Division company 'Holiday' party (I guess you can't call it a Christmas party anymore without offending someone). Anyway, Jacqui and I really had a good time - and best of all - we won the grand prize!

Our CIO draws the name for the grand prize - a 37 inch LCD flat screen TV.
And the winner is.......

ME!!

We spent Christmas Eve at my folks house. I know that I say the same thing every year - but this tradition really does take me back to my childhood. My parents still live in the same house they bought in 1969 - just before I started kindergarten. I was always the first one up on Christmas morning, and would run downstairs to see what Santa left in my stocking. After all these years, Santa hasn't changed his routine - and we started Christmas eve by dumping out the stockings.

Santa started a new tradition with the grand kids. He puts clues around the house, and it's like a treasure hunt to find the presents.

After spending the day at my parents house, we made the roadie across town to spent the evening with Jacqui's mom, step-dad, her sister Julie, Kenn, Ryan, Ken's mom, Boyd, Michael and Theresa.

OK - after all that - we finally made it Christmas morning! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! As usual, Austin was the 1st to wake up. I'm not sure how long he was up by himself, but he eventually came into our room and woke up up. It was so cute - he had a flashlight, and said "I tried to open my presents, but it was too loud. Can you help me?"
