Christmas and New Years Eve 2009

This page actually starts before Christmas - on Dec 4th 2009 when Houston was hit with a record setting snow fall.

OK, so now we finally get to the Christmas pictures. Because if everyone's hectic schedules, we started early this year. My folks hosted their Christmas celebration on the Sunday before Christmas. As I've said before, this ritual always takes me back to my childhood days. ...thanks Mom and Dad!

The next Christmas celebration was at Mimi's house on Christmas Eve. We watched football, drank beer and opened presents - perfect!

Don't worry - we didn't give any beer to the kids.

...but you can tell most everyone else looks pretty relaxed.

The final Christmas party this year was the Berryman/Doss/Denney family party. Like last year, we celebrated at the Huntwick club - where I spent a lot of time as a kid swimming, playing ping pong, etc....takes me back.

The kids are growing up so fast....

To wrap things up - here are the pictures from New Years Eve. We rented a bounce house for the kids, and set up a place for the adults to stay warm and dry.
