Christmas 2018

Today is Friday, January 4th. The Holidays are over, and everyone is getting back into the regular routine. Well, supposed to at least. I'm finding it hard to shift gears so quickly. I so enjoy sleeping in, having coffee with Jacqui in the morning, and just being able to relax. But, the bills still need to be paid, so it's off to work I go. Anyway - let's get on with the Christmas pictures! Yes, I took a lot this year - sit back and enjoy.

OK - it's officially the start of Christmas!! Our first Christmas event was a Happy Hour at Julie's

We enjoyed champagne and hors d'oeuvres

...and Gracie scooted around all over!

...while the boys enjoyed some games.

Our 2nd official Christmas event - Dinner at Mimi's~!~!~!

Our next event was Christmas at my mom's with my brother and his family

Clark wasn't there, so we relied on the trusty tripod and self timer for these pictures
...and look, I really am taller than my brother - even without being on my tiptoes.

Are we ready?

It was the year of fuzzy gifts!

Austin had to try, and looks so regal

Poor Jacqui, we think she was allergic to all the fuzzy stuff

A 40+ year Huntwick tradition came to an end this year. It was the final year for the candle bags (luminaries).

This is something I grew up with, and saw every Christmas eve.
It was an impressive sight to see the entire neighborhood lit up.

My mom's next door neighbor is a great guy who helps her out a lot...
...and he loves his Christmas decorations!

This year we made everyone sit at 'the big table'

It was a bit more crowded...

IT'S CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!

I got up, made sausage, biscuits, coffee....

....and eventually the kids woke up
